PGY1
Eastern Maine Medical Center's PGY1 Residency offers a comprehensive introduction to the practice of Pharmacy. The program offers an opportunity to advance knowledge in areas or Pharmacokinetics, Drug Use Policy, Research, Administration with clinical rotations that include Critical Care, Pulmonary/ Oncology, Infectious Disease, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Pediatrics, Rehab Medicine and electives.
Our residency will prepare pharmacist clinicians to perform as clinical pharmacists, serve as adjunct faculty or enter PGY2 training.
Residents are allowed 2 weeks vacation, full healthcare benefits, discount meals and travel allowance to the ASHP mid-year & Eastern States Conference.
